Goodbye No-No

Brian Horwitz singled in the top of the seventh inning, ending the Rock Cats' Glen Perkins' bid at a no-hitter.

Also, the Defenders set a franchise record tonight. Any guess as to which record they broke?

OK guys...it doesn't count when the answer has already been published in today's paper. But even had you not seen the story, both are great guesses.

Skip...FYI: Monday's game was the 21st time the team was shutout, a pretty obscene number. It is a team record. The previous record was 14 in 2003

Just goes to show you the quality pitching teh team has had in 2006.
