Utility – Jesus Merchan, Reading
Right-handed Starter – Clay Buchholz, Portland
Left-handed Starter – Geno Espineli, Connecticut
Reliever – Matt Peterson, Altoona

Congrats to Geno, much deserved.
Very interesting and fitting that Eugenio makes it at second base after such a short stint in the leage and that he's been moved to CF.
I thought Altoona would have more guys.

Steve Pearce was the Curve player I'm thinking of.
Well, this isn't the actual all-star team -- this is who, between both divisions, the beat writers and some radio announcers felt were the best at their positions thus far. I do think this should give you an idea of who to expect to be selected ... which I think Pearce will be among.
