Twist

Eugenio Velez is starting in center field and not second base tonight. This is his first game as a professional in the outfield.

The play by play guys on CN8 interviewed Steamer and he said Tidrow called Mach this PM and told him to make the move. The TV guys said the Giants didn't feel he was strong enough going to his right and wasn't likely to improve. Player Development. Go figure!
