This is the age old issue of "fannies in the seats' versus tickets sold, but the 2400 didn't surprise me because:
1) My guess is that they have between 600 and 800 season ticket holders, the crowd minimum.
2) There were a lot of groups announced yesterday, many that received weak cheers when recognized. Tickets sold, but no shows?
3) There were a lot of folks milling around in the concourse or seated in the top 3 rows...the shaded areas. I don't have a clue what that count may have been, but maybe 400 to 500.
4) My guesstimate is there were roughly 1000 to 1200 of us working on our ball park tans.
I was operating on fumes yesterday, so perhaps I was seeing double!
